Welcome back Francesca

Francesca Lami, European Manager

Welcome back Francesca!

We are delighted to welcome Francesca back following her maternity leave. She originally joined the Jarvis team in February 2013 and progressed from Development Chemist to Laboratory Manager and now heads up our European Operations.

Since joining us, Francesca has been responsible for developing many award winning formulations for our clients and is sure to build on this success with some innovative projects already in the pipeline.

This means that our Italian Development Laboratory, based in Empoli amongst the beautiful rolling hills of Tuscany, is now back in full operation. We are really looking forward to seeing some exciting new formulations in the next few months.

She will be spending most of  October in our UK Laboratories to get back in touch with our ongoing development projects and renew her customer contacts. She will also be familiarising herself with our latest operating systems and software as well as the updated equipment that we have implemented and installed since she went on maternity leave.

She will also be preparing for the implementation and commissioning of our European manufacturing site which she will manage.

Some of our first products out of the new facility will be based on raw materials exclusive to the Tuscan region with strong provenance and traceability to where it is grown.

Francesca studied Science and Technology of Herbal and Cosmetic Products at the University of Siena and graduated from there in 2011. The fact that she is multilingual will be really useful as our European manufacturing facility gets underway.

Should you have any product ideas you would like to discuss with her, especially any that are based on Tuscan provenance, please do get in touch.
