Working as part of our growing manufacturing team, you will be involved in manufacturing innovative, exciting and outstanding bath and body skincare and haircare products as well as extracts for our niche brand clients.
Working directly with our Manufacturing Supervisor and co-operating with other colleagues you will be manufacturing products to the highest quality standards in our manufacturing section. We have top quality mixing equipment and and our clients expect only the best quality products. We manufacture a wide range of products so you will always be seeing something new and learning a lot of new techniques as you work.
Our ideal candidate will be someone who does have some production experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Full training will be given.
This is a challenging and varied hands-on manufacturing role within a dynamic and growing business. You will also be expected to contribute to ensuring our quality and productivity standards are met and that we continue to exceed our GMP certification requirements.
This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (usually 08h30 to 17h00), based at our factory near Hadleigh in Suffolk.
We are looking to fill this role as soon as possible with an early start date. Salary £20 000 – £22 000 per annum.
Manufacturing batches of cosmetic products (skin-care, hair-care, toiletries, body & bath care, sun-care) and herbal extracts.
Strict adherence to given formulations and methods.
Weighing raw materials.
Pre heating vessels and mixers.
Cleaning vessels, mixers, machinery and general work environment
Following company policy regarding GMP and Health and Safety procedures.
Manufacture and filtration of herbal extracts and concentrates and ensuring consistent quality and stock levels.
To work flexibly between the various manufacturing departments and occasionally assisting in other departments on site.
Work either alone or with other team members depending on the particular task allocated.
Attending training courses as and when required.
Maintain quality and production documentation and adhere to our quality standards at all times.
Working under GMP, GLP, COSHH, RIDDOR and Health and Safety guidelines.
Ensuring general good housekeeping of the manufacturing facilities and associated areas.
Some production experience, ideally in a manufacturing company. Full training will be given.
Be organised and pro-active in your approach to work.
Good numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail are important.
Some experience working in a ‘clean’ environment under Good Manufacturing Practice.
Due to location you will need your own Transport to enable you to get to work.
