Bespoke extracts
The plant species, provenance requirements, preservation systems and desired claim are the first point of discussion.
We carefully select the best part of the plant for your unique extract. This may be the whole plants, leaves, petals, stems, bark, roots, cut or a combination. Thus making every extract unique.
Once the starting plant material has been established, our Innovation and Creativity team (I&C) will maximise the herbal equivalency of the extract by adapting the process time, equipment and solvent systems used such as Aqueous, Aqueous/Glycerine, Alcohol or Oil.
Our I&C team will evaluate the compatibility of the preservation system, ideal maceration period (standing time) and optimum yield values. Through carefully controlled processes we strive to use the minimum amount of preservative whilst maintaining the maximum level of preservative efficacy.
